Photos finally

OUR NEW CAR! We paid 1000 and it runs well, is a stick shift. WE love it. Theothers are of us at the beach accross the street from our house. Come visit us!!!!

Things are going great

Well things are so good for us here in hawaii and and we are fully ready to accomadate all sorts of visitors. we have a car, are soon moving in to a new apartment, I ahve a sweet job, and now we can wine and dine you to your hearts content. Well maybe we aren't that rich...but we are doing a lot better. Moema is al done with finals and they went well, he should find out his grades by the end of next week. Also, my job is going very well. I really like my boss and he treats me well and promises me a raise in three months. We went to Honolulu yesterday so he could show me all the stuff I am need to drop off, etc. I work for a Genearl Contractor, they are doing well so there is a lot of money to go around and he pays his employees very well. he is a tongan guy. Anyway, it is interetsing work, I am his personal assistant/ secretary and he keeps me busy. In fact it is Saturday and I am in the office cause we are about to have a meeting. He is so cool, he just lets me drive his really nice Mini everywehre, like Honolulu or to the bank, so I never have to put any miles on my car. It is sweet. well come visit cause we are now just realizing how beautiful this place is ! What a blessing it is to live here.

McKay's Pinewood Derby Day

He was so excited for today and he really wanted to do well! He came in 2nd in his den of 12, and 4th overall in a field of about 25! He also won an award for the shiniest paintjob, which he did with some selected shades of my nail polish. Didn't he do a nice job?

The Kool-Aid Queen

This is what happens when I leave Natalya alone for 1 minute, and when McKay forgets to put away the pitcher of Kool-Aid. Believe it or not, this was the first time ever in my history as a mother that I have purchased Kool-Aid, and I think it will be the last! Yesterday there was a similar scene when Natalya tried to eat a blue rubber stamp that the kids got from the Easter party last week, except her face was blue. Just yesterday, she got the blue face, broke part of my brand new DVD player, and threw a Corelle dish down the stairs where it shattered into about 40 million pieces. She must need some more intellectual stimulation or something.......

Great pictures

The best thing about computers is this blog and getting to see our grandchildren so often. Thank you Amber and JaLayne for your great posts. Happy Birthday to Natalya and Jaron. Justin has his final boards on Friday and Saturday so everyone remember him in your prayers. This will be the end of exams for him after so many years. I painted a wall in the living room just now and we get new carpet and kitchen floor on Monday. I can't wait. Love Mom

talya's birthday

On Talya's birthday, the Ambassador had the annual easter egg hunt. We could only stay for half an hour, but the kids had a lot of fun and got a lot of candy, and these cool easter egg headbands! Natalya had a great birthday, which included a blue cake that she had been asking for for weeks!

a few pictures from Spring Break

The little kids "swimming" inside where it isn't too hot, all five on McKay's bed watching a movie, Natalya striking an uncharacteristically calm pose, and Ryan at 3 months.

Oliver got the inside tip yesterday that India won't let us import anymore cheese for the commissary, so I went to the Embassy today and bought 150 dollars worth of frozen cheese. Oh the joys of life in India!

I had 3 LDS women over with their kids (6 boys and a baby girl to add to our 4 boys and one girl) today. Nice ladies and the kids all get along pretty well. I think I'm finally getting a "life" here.
