A freezing april day for the Blue and Gold game
Their Cirkov
The Moscow Circus was amazing!!

The old couch that we just took to the dump. It stayed on the front porch for only 3 days. I think the kids were pretty disappointed that we didn't keep it there any longer. It was threadbare, full of something that made us sneeze, and the springs were visible when we took the seat cushions off. Good riddance! A guy in our ward gave us a slightly faded, but very clean denim sofa, and Natalya has claimed it as her own. We officially have NO matching furniture, but we are all able to comfortably sit down together!

We took a Sunday drive just before sunset last weekend, and it was such a beautiful day! We love living here.

Who needs a dog?

JaLayne (and the rest of you), this is a mild view of the eye thing that Hannah has... when she is looking up, one eye can't look in that direction because the tendon in the eye is too short, if I understood the doctor correctly. There are other times she isn't looking up, and her left eye looks up and to the left, and the other eye looks straight ahead. It's a little strange, but she can see fine. She goes back to the opthalmologist in a few weeks... hopefully we can put off surgery for as long as we can! (By the way, she had a little accident on Saturday, and had a little cut that had to be glued shut on her forehead.)
This is a new section of the Moscow called "Moscow City". The building on the far right is the tallest in Europe.
This building is known as the "Russian White House" although it's home to the legislative branch, the Duma, or Parliament. When Lincoln and I saw it twenty years ago it all shot up from a coup attempt. It's only about a block from the embassy compound.
This is one of the five Stalinistic Gothic buildings in Moscow, built between 1947 and 1953. This particular one is currently the Hotel Ukraine.
Lincoln, What an amazing trip! Call me! I have such a hard time calling you. Those pictures are incredible.
Amber, That picture of Hannah on the fireplace is so adorable. Those are the sort of pictures of kids that I love to draw. But of course no time for that.

Wow wonderful pictures. We are so proud of you Natalya. We wish we could be at our grandchildren's baptisms. Levin and Melissa are off to Istanbul today. Love Mom

Hannah is a great arm folder... it comes in handy for impressing people at church during prayers.

The whole crew. Doesn't McKay look too big to be brother to all the younger kids? It is like he came from another family or something.

Joel with his little sweetie.

Ryan had his first little league game on Saturday. I have never seen him so excited. He had his little uniform all laid out for days ahead of time.

He stayed so alert out in the field. It was fun to watch him.

Natalya and Oliver, just before her baptism.

Natalya with her cake, which she happily shared with everyone....except for the yellow rose, which she was clear about wanting to keep for herself!

Emily serving the cake. She and her family decided to come at the last minute, and it was so great to have her there!
