Oliver & I went on a little camping trip Wednesday night...

We hadn't been anywhere without kids for about 2 1/2 years, so when Dad offered to keep the kids for us for a night, we jumped on it!

Oliver on his beloved Makalu.

 

After going through a dense thicket, I looked down and saw that I had taken a bunch of it with me!

Oliver: cowboy, hero, champion cobbler maker.

Chilling on top of the mountain (big pile of rocks) we hiked to the top of together.... the perspective makes me look like I have the world's most thunderous calves....
