CE Weekend

Justin decided to take Jaron and Alena with him to his CE conference in Tucson last weekend. He got a lot of stares from other Optometrist. Most thought he was a single dad that couldn't find a babysitter. The kids loved having some time with their dad finally. He took them to the County Fair and they attended a day camp where they became Jr. Ranger's.

I love the pictures, Amber. We can't wait to get out there nearer to you guys and Levin and Melissa. We'll be a lot nearer to cousins than ever before. We just bought the same shirt for Dawson that Ryan is wearing in the pictures. Gotta love Target. I'm glad we'll be near one in Danville also. Good luck with the photo shoot.
Melissa, Hope the pregnancy isn't causing too many aches and pains yet.

Great pictures, Amber
Are you trying to make Levin cry? I
especially loved the one of Ryan and Leah with the shot of the lambs beneath them. It looks like the first is of them in human form and the one below in animal form.

Our new neighbor, Leah. Will this be the only time in the history of this family that cousins have lived in the same state/county?

Levin's black sheep got lonely, so we bought him a friend. They chase each other around their pen, and seem to like each other.

Yes, the grass needs to be cut. Yes, we let our kids sit a little too close to the tail end of our horses. Cute boys, though.
Tomorrow I photograph a wedding at the DC temple... please join with me in praying that it doesn't rain!!

Chocolate Milk Falls

Man, that's a bummer, Lincoln. I hope you can find a way home sooner. These are some pictures of a really cool place 1 hour north of us. It's only like this for about 1 month of the year. People call it the "Chocolate Milk Falls", mmmm Yum!

Melissa
New update
Levin can zou call siobhan and tell her we are leaving for Amsterdam tonight on a 1st class train, but no ferries are open for a week so we will have to figure a way to get across the channel someother way. thanks
Update
Siobhan it looks like we are taking a train tonight to Paris and then walking from there.

Siobhan this is the latest from the UK air authority, not promising
From midday today until at least 6pm, there will be no flights permitted in UK controlled airspace other than emergency situations. This has been applied in accordance with international civil aviation policy. We continue to monitor the situation with the Met Office and work closely with airline customers and adjoining countries. We will review the situation later today to understand what further action will be required. It is very unlikely that the situation over England will improve in the foreseeable future.
Stranded in Slovenia due to Icelandic Volcano

Momma with her shiny new toy

When I told the salesman of our family preference for Fords, (seven of them) he suggested that we get a photo of the Expedition, Explorer and Escape lined up and he'd use it as a promotional add. If Justin would get the Excursion and
Moema the Edge, they'd probably go national. We could also include Taylor's Club
Wagon and let David and
JaLayne have our Taurus if we wanted to really be ridicules. DAD

We are going to miss Hawaii!!!!!
Great photos!!
I laughed hard at Melissa's message and about cried at Moema's pictures. What a surreal photo of him and Allyson, with the palm trees in the background. We're really excited to get them here Tomorrow. DAD
Congratulations to All
Wow, looks like it was a big weekend for everyone! Amber finishing her playset, Moema graduating, Jaron's baptism, baby Allyson's blessing and most importantly congratulations to Levin on becoming a father again. I hope he is as excited when our little Oliver is born as he is about that lamb. The lamb was my birthday present to him (once I hand the cash over to Oliver - that is).
I think I have said this before, but Allyson is one of the cutest babies I have ever seen. The lamb . . . . not so sure.
I just got home from my last Nigerian fabric shopping trip and last week we had our last "souveniers" dropped off. It is starting to become real that we're leaving. It is coming at a good time though. Levin can't drive amongst Nigerians for too much longer without going postal and I can't have too many more Sundays chasing a screaming Leah around our hot and dirty church without losing my testimony. Oddly enough, church is the thing I'll miss most though.
Thanks Amber for posting the pictures of Levin's animals!

Moema Graduation!
Dad and Mom's photos of the baptism

Dueling Grandfather's, competing for Jaron's favor

Would you believe that this is the first grandchild baptism we've attended?
I must apologize for Justin's profane cartoon. I insisted that he send it because it made me laugh so hard. What does that say about me? Not good.

Jaron and Allyson's special weekend
Allyson's Baby Blessing

This has been the most wonderful weekend! Jaron's baptism, Allyson's baby blessing, and I was released from my calling as Primary President :) I loved my calling actually I couldn't have asked for a better Primary to Preside over, but packing and homeschooling is demanding a lot of my attention now. We loved having mom and dad here, they did so much that I now feel like what's left for me to pack is manageable and not overwhelming. I can't thank you enough. We are getting so dang excited for our move to Virginia. Visiting Levin and Melissa and Oliver and Amber will be so fun. The kids can't wait to see the farm animals, ride a horse, and play with their cousins. The play-set looks great too. What a party we are going to have!

Jaron's Baptism

It was a pretty neat experience to baptize the first in our family. We loved Dad's talk before the confirmation. We are going to miss Mom and Dad this week! They have been such a help.

Sites from Oliver
Justin said that if you were able to open those emails you don't have a good enough blocker on your computers. We are down here at Justin's and his Net Nanny wouldn't let us open them. Mom
To make money to pay for the new horse barn, of course!
Our Hotmail account has been hacked into and every single contact in our address list (a list which included numerous church contacts on 3 continents) has been sent links to porn and viagra. At least thats what we have been told. It's been a real headache to say the least. I hope we have solved the problem, though.
Oliver is on a little pack trip in the Shenandoahs today with Jared. I hope he has a good enough day to justify missing school. Like that would be hard.
Amber
Why is my brother sending pornography to our email accounts?
